MINIMUM WATER & SEWER CHARGE
1.
An individual meter is required for each kitchen per household (and/or establishment
where water is being furnished), mobile home, apartment, condominium or other multi-
family structure (i.e., duplexes, four-plexes, etc.)  Each individual standard 3/4 inch X 5/8 inch sized
meter will be billed at the established minimum number and minimum will be compared with the calculated unit number and minimum billed based on the larger amount, i.e.:
    1 inch Meter = 2.5 Minimums
1 1/2 inch Meter = 5.0 Minimums
2 inch Meter = 8.0 Minimums
 
  No exceptions to the above requirement except as waived by the Board of Directors.  
Application for exceptions must be made before the Board of Directors every January to
be considered for continuance.
2.
R.V. PARKS
Permanent dwellings, i.e., mobile homes, apartments, etc. One Meter/One Kitchen = 1
Minimum plus the following charges for transient spaces:
    1 to 19 spaces requires 1 inch meter = 2.5 Minimums
20 to 49 spaces requires 1 1/2 inch meter = 5 Minimums
50 to 99 spaces requires 2 inch meter = 8 Minimums
100 or more spaces = Must be evaluated by General Manager

The District will run the line from the street to customer’s property line.  Customers install 4 inch service line and are responsible for the line from their side of the tap.  (Permit fee for Commercial is $900.00.)

Customer must make available 220 dedicated wiring with 30 amp breaker box.  District installs pressure unit.  Customers are responsible for the line from their side of the unit, and also making certain that electricity is available to the unit continually at all times.  (Permit fee for Commercial is $900.00)

These prices are for labor only.  There will be
added cost for casing material depending on each individual job.
METER READ CHARGES
A $35.00 TRIP CHARGE FEE will be made if the meter was read correctly and/or if the meter tests accurately within 5%.  The customer should be present when the meter is re-read.



METER TESTS
If customer requests a meter test, the meter will be brought to the District Shop and tested.  If it tests within plus or minus 5% on both high and low flow, the customer will be charged $35.00.  If the meter does not test within these tolerances, the bill will be adjusted accordingly.



DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS
Monthly charges for service are due and payable sixteen (16) days from the billing date, after which a 10% penalty charge shall be applied.  If not paid by the final due date posted on the billing statement, service will be disconnected and shall not resume until the total amount due is paid plus the established reconnect fees.


RECONNECT FEES
A Reconnect Fee will be applied any time water and/or sewer service is discontinued for any period of time.
1.
New Customer  $35.00 Service/Trip Charge Fee.  If pressure sewer has been
disconnected for more than thirty-five (35) days there will be a trip charge plus the actual
cost of restoring the grinder pump to operational status.
2.
If service has been disconnected for non-payment two times within the preceding twelve
month period, the reconnect fees will be doubled.  The additional fees will continue until
customer has 12 consecutive months without a lock for non-payment/insufficient funds
check.
3.
Property Owner  If account is temporarily finalled for more than thirty-five (35) days, the
customer will be charged two (2) trip fees of $35.00 each and a $50.00 Reconnect Fee.
4.
Delinquent Accounts
    Gravity Sewer (No Water) Disconnect and Reconnect Charges-1 hour minimum, $130.00/hr. plus materials.

Pressure Sewer (No Water)                    Remove fuses and lock  ($70.00 Reconnect Fee)

INSUFFICIENT FUNDS OR "HOT" CHECK

$30.00 each time check is presented to the bank.   If meter was locked for non-payment and if insufficient funds check was tendered as payment for restoration of service, the meter will be locked again without prior notice.  To have service resumed, the full amount of the insufficient funds check plus established reconnect fees must be paid in CASH.
